@DJ, That may be true, but for those people who might not have a firm grasp of how all their search traffic found them, or how they might go about writing content to attract long-tail searches, it's a really nice tool.

I'm not sure why you referred to the long tail as the "holy grail" in your blog entry - I don't think many consider long tail the holy grail; many consider it a great way for small websites with small budgets to compete for search traffic on a given subject matter. Or for big websites to dominate their space by capturing short and long tail searches.

I've found it a great tool to get content ideas flowing freely.



I didn't write more about it in a blog anywhere.
