    Adios Adsense

8000 uniques yesterday didn't generate enough to get a #1 meal + 9 piece mcnugget at McDs and that's a problem.......♪♪♪♪ YOU GOOGLE!

I applied to Y a while back and have heard nothing. Yep, that's a great way to beat G.

Anyone have a contextual ppc network that they like?

Nope, and I've tried them all, I think.

what eCPM are you looking to achieve, and what ad placements do you have available?

Sigh, I can relate to that.

My income is like a sadistic rollercoaster ride. The ecpm changes on a daily basis fluctuating wildly. Unfortunatly it seems to trend down over time.

There's a post a gevil.org that has a huge list of similar programs. But keep trying with YPN - I got in a few days ago (though it was after about 12 months of trying).

I'm starting YPN out on my smallest site to see how we do, then it'll graduate as it proves itself.

    To clarify my comment:

I didn't mention YPN because it seemed you were looking for others besides that.

I do use YPN, and am using them more and more...in fact, replacing adsense with YPN gradually over time.

The targeting is less perfect, but the EPC is much better. I'm hoping the targeting improves over time, because if so, it'll end up being a whole lot more profitable than adsense is.

But, if you are looking for something other than adsense or ypn, then, no, i haven't found anything else in the same genre that is nearly as good...yet.

Maybe by 2025 I'll be able to try YPN and talk about it...

Hi, let me put it like this: for a long while, on a pretty consistent basis, 1000 uniques would roughly equal $10. That I was fine with. 10,000 uniques = $100 = fine and dandy + affiliate stuff .....

This has all changed. Now it's more like 10,000 uniques = $10 = ridiculous...

The ad placements that I have available are the standard publisher ones. I mostly use 336 x 280 and 468 x 60.

The thing I can't understand about Y is why they are so difficult to hook up with. It's like those folks want me to beg them permission to make them money...

    thanks for the replies.

Maybe it's a "more publishers" = "more ads to supply" = "more server load" and pops ain't working for them. Maybe they go safely...
