Magento ECommerce - Duplicate URLs issue

Hi

Currently I am working on a website which uses Magento shopping cart. I haven't had any experience with it before and trying hard to learn how it works.

If anyone experienced can share some points which I should take care of while doing SEO, that would be a great help.

I know there are some duplicate content threat due to enabling “Use categories path for product URLs”. In Google's duplicate content page says such duplication as non-malicious but that doesn't mean duplicate threat is eliminated. -

Actually when I put same product listed under multiple categories, it creates pages with exact product description under each categories.
e.g.
/category1/product1.html
/category2/product1.html
/category3/product1.html

This has to be addressed. And there will be similar stuffs needs attention which might have missed. Please put some lights on...
