I know there are some issues and the site is getting redesigned/rebuilt as we speak.

I have some general questions on duplicate content. I would appreciate it if someone would be kind enough to give me some answers on them.

I have a number of pages that I consider to be duplicate conetent:
computer-repairs-bethnal-green-london.html
computer-repairs-holborn-london.html

I probably have 100 odd pages like that. The content on those pages are exactly the same apart from area names. Probably 80% the same.

I want to know if search engines will penalise my site for duplicate content.

Secondly, my site displays with www and without. Does that mean Google may cache both versions of your site, causing sitewide duplicate content penalties!

Finally, by typing in:
http://www.scootek.co.uk/index.html
and
http://www.scootek.co.uk/

...you will get to the same page...would this cause duplicate content issues?

I would appreciate any advice view opinion, even if you can't answer it all.
