SEO Sites Targeted By Hacker - Inside Job?

Grey Wolf’s site (www.wolf-howl.com) has apparently been hacked by a hacker with a serious beef against the SEO community. The site now redirects to the hackers wordpress powered blog with a YouTube video of someone playing with fire. The message that went out via GreyWolf’s RSS feed was this:

EDIT: Oh, and apparently the hacker is someone from the SEO community and claims to even be a moderator at some of the more popular forums etc. (Hence, the inside job comment).

Apparently Stuntdubl (http://www.stuntdubl.com/) was also hit. This is pretty impressive!

Yeah, he or she hit stuntdubl as well. I'm going around the rest of the list to see if any other sites have been affected...

The hack though looks like a simple redirect. Can't the owner login and change the html code? This looks fishy to me. stuntdubl looks ok

It looked fishy to me too but I figure I'll play along for a bit. I dont mind being "punked" if that's what this is.

On stuntdubl the site LOOKS fine but the links are all point to the "hackers" page.

You know what's possible is that all targets are members at the boards where "hacker" is the mod. If he had access to their login information on those boards, he might have tried it to hack into target servers. Many people use the same login info which is a big mistake IMO

Stundubl isn't OK (view HTML-code), and it isn't a simple redirect. Turn off javascript and you will see that.
