Looks like someone's buying cheap domains to cash in in 2030 =)
You can even make money selling domains that to me apear to be crap like: AlaskanKingCrab.com sold for $12,000 or IfLooksCouldKill.com sold for $40,000

In 97 when I was spamming Usenet and Infoseek, Network Solutions would let you buy a domain, but not pay for it for either a few weeks or up to 2 months (poor memory, I forget exactly how long it was). Since my partner and I were burning through sites at the time.
