Analytic sluggish - Search Engine Optimization Forum

I know it's not supposed to be real-time, but I've notice Google Analytics running anywhere from 5-9 hrs. behind fairly regularly lately. Is that typical of what other people are seeing? Or is it the Skitz Effect?

I really like the Analytics report. What alternatives are there that would let me monitor multiple sites in closer to real-time? Of course cost is an issue.

I haven't used it myself by StatCounter claims to have real-time stats and is free. I have no idea how accurate the claim is though.

I think most of the best analytics programs are going to cost quite a bit.

I like Analytics too. Real-time would be great, but for the most part I'm fine waiting a few hours for the numbers. Plus I can always look at my stats and if I don't like them I can easily lie to myself and pretend it's only because they haven't recorded all those thousands of visitors that just showed up. Of course that fantasy bursts within a few hours

I used to see a delay of 3-4 Hrs for my GA reports, but sometimes they went odd and I wouldn't see the update for half-a day or some. - yeah, today I am seeing the same, from the last 12Hrs there is no visit get reported...

But my StatCounter report shows them... and yeah, they are more tend to be real-time... But for Real-time stats, I use the WP plugin http://www.headzoo.com/live that shows a little info but interesting to have...
