    DMOZ and other directories

If I ever manage to get my website listed with DMOZ is it true other directories often use DMOZ listings to build up their directories? As you know there are thousands of directories out there and me going to them one by one and asking for my website to be listed would take me months or years.

Yeah it is true, but the directories that have their own submission system ("Add your site...") usually aren't DMOZ clones or even DMOZ-based. You'd still have to put some work into those, that is if you can't get people to do it for you

There are certain sites that scrape DMOZ content.

Then, there are directories, to which you need to submit your site separately.

i suggest you should hire a professional dmoz submission service. Search for the phrase in google and you will get a lot of professionals doing it. the most ideal amount for this service should be about 30 dollars.they will enhance your chances of getting listed in dmoz
