    Obfuscate emails on profile pages

First of all, I really enjoy the new profile pages. They rock.

Secondly, what I would really appreciate, is if you obfuscate the emails at least in the source code, ideally, not display at all, like it was before.

Thank you for your great work, though

Actually, I'd like the email address completely removed and not visible. It's not for public consumption.

I'm guessing it depends on what you have checked on the User CP edit options page (http://www.seorefugee.com/forums/pro...do=editoptions). I dont' have "Receive Email from Other Members" checked, and my email addy doesn't show up. So just go untick that box.

I always untick that box but for some reason it's been ticked. Unticking it worked. Thanks DD!

I must say that I've started to get spam on the addy I use here. Started quite recently, possibly together with the 'upgrade' but I'm not sure. Hmmmmm.

I don't really remember how i had my options set up, is it possible that it comes as the default option and when we upgraded it switched everyone's back to public?

Mine was not changed tho, I've just checked.

I use that email address for commenting on SEO-related blogs as well, so it was either Donna or Cutts who spammed me

Twasn't me. I haven't sent out any kind of emails (other than replies to friends and such) in ages.

I am starting to think you were tasked with using the word obfuscate in a sentence. Nicely done.

lol - I had to look up what it meant!

ROFL. No, I actually thought it is a commonly used verb, when it comes to deciphering emails for spam prevention.
