Football... (the American version)

Once again, another thread started that I didnt want to lose. Basically every week we will try to pick the winners and when the dust settles, we tally everything up. The winner usually talks some smack... oh and Wit (I hope he joins up here) usually tells us how much of a sissy game this is since they wear protective padding.

Well, let's see Wit tell Joe Theisman how much of a 'sissy' game it is after he had his leg broken severly on MNF (the bone broke nearly 90 degrees between the ankle and the knee -- for those who don't know). Sissy, game, eh?

Tell it to Brian Bozworth who was knocked out cold after taking a hit from Bo Jackson on MNF (Jackson scored a touchdown on that run). Boz's football career ended after that... he 'retired.'

Sissy game, eh? I think not.

By the way... my picks: I pick that all the winners will win and the others will lose.

What a week of football... biggest news of the week, despite what the press might say or Toddieg will tell you, Kurt Warner threw for 3 td's and no Int! The MVP is back and healthy and has two of the best young recievers to throw to (Boldin and Fitzgerald). Now if they can protect him just a bit more and maybe find some sort of running game, Kurt could begin to eat up secondaries like he used to.

Ok I will admit, the Cards arent that good. But, they arent far from a really good O. And, we saw how well that works with Indy... it will get them to the playoffs but not through them. I really dont think AZ is in as bad of shape as Houston is... they are just sad...

Houston sad? More like pathetic! They have a few good players... some could be great. But the team sucks! 1-9? I feel sorry for the one lone team that lost to this bunch of misfits.

Indy will get through the playoffs and will win everything. Their D is leaps and bounds over last year and they can play with the big boys this year on both sides of the ball. The biggest hurdle was stopping NE and they did that with relative ease (those two are rivalry games and those are always tossups).
