Does Bitcoins are popular now a days?

Hi, this is George Fowell from Sydney, Australia. I am asking above question about bitcoins because many Indians in Australia would like to purchase bitcoins?

Last summer there was this big "bubble" in bitcoin world, but since then it dropped so I dont think people buy them as frequently as they did, but maybe its texactly the opposite, people buy them now, because they are lets say not cheap, but affordable. Also I think people mostly spend them now, for exmaple in online gambling websites or there are gadgets or various things you can buy for bitcoin..So bitcoin is a thing, but its not as big as it used to be. It has its moments when it sparks and creates attention, but otherwise its just interesting only for those who trade.
