Check out Hittail, it's free!
You should take a look at hittail.com. It is a free analytics software, you just add a snippet of code to the end of your page and it will let you know where all of your visitors come from and which keywords they use to get to your site. It even offers suggestions on what to do with the keyword info you receive. (I do not own hittail.com, I just think it's an outstanding product - and free!)

Before everyone goes gaga over hittail consider some of the SEO pros and cons. Hittail must be considered within the context of the site; it's not hte holy grail of SEO :P
I wrote more about it in a blog post: http://www.distinctseo.com/blog/seo/...tions-for-seo/

Mike Levin is "Chief HitTailer" and a member here though he only makes rare appearances. I interviewed him at 14thC as part of my SEO Interviews serries. I suggest checking out the hittail forum as new uses and pros/cons are described in detail.
No it's not the "holy grail" but it is a damn fine tool IMO.

@DJ, That may be true, but for those people who might not have a firm grasp of how all their search traffic found them, or how they might go about writing content to attract long-tail searches, it's a really nice tool.
I'm not sure why you referred to the long tail as the "holy grail" in your blog entry - I don't think many consider long tail the holy grail; many consider it a great way for small websites with small budgets to compete for search traffic on a given subject matter. Or for big websites to dominate their space by capturing short and long tail searches.
I've found it a great tool to get content ideas flowing freely.
I didn't write more about it in a blog anywhere.
