    What is 'Regged Users' user group here?

    Hi all

    Just roaming around my control panel, i just happen to see 'Group Memberships' link under the 'Miscellaneous'. When I open it... I saw a User Group called 'Regged Users' and Joining Conditions as Anyone is free to join this usergroup...

    What exactly this mean...and what is the use... ???

    Am I missing anything,... ? - When I googled, I saw only Acea's user profile showed that - not currently but the cache page has - .

    any thoughts... ?

    You can create different groups for certain purposes. Like a private discussion, etc. Technicly the mods are a group... so are the admins. Sometimes being in a group gives you extra benefits like access to "hidden" forums , the ability to edit posts, ban users, etc.

    Since you pointed that out I changed my appearance to look like a "Regged user" instead of a mod. Note the color on my nic changed.
