    Anybody tried it already? Does it also make sense for optimization for organic results? I'm a SEO, I do not buy rankings, I optimze pages to get them!

    Actually as I could understand... once we gave the testing pages in to the tool.. google starts testing those pages with a portion of our traffic and gives the reports...

    It can be just altering Each of your Testing pages as Landing pages from Adwords Campaign and build reports on according to those details...

    So am not sure whther this option will be there to test using this tool... And there are logical difficulties also...

    Organic Results we can't select the Landing pages, since Algorithm does that...

    I don't think that this tool will help much in Organic search. We can't implement the results we have got out of paid listings.
    In PPC we select the keyword and landing page. The effectiveness of the analysis depends on the keyword and landing page combination that we select.
    Consider my site is about porn. The PPC keyword I selected is software and the landing page is talking about live webcam. Google will think it is related with the keyword so it will approve your campaign. Can you really think that the result got out of such PPC will help in optimising for natural search listings?

    This has nothing to do with organic. It's for PPC only and uses a javascript pull mechanism (similar to adsense) to display different titles, body copy and images on your landing page, then monitor's the CTR and conversions to find which individual elements and combinations work better. I signed up a couple of sites to be beta testers, but haven't heard back yet. If I do get accepted, I'll post up some more info.

    If you've never done A/B split testing but always wanted to, this is a godsend. It gives you all the functionality so all you need to do is manage the account like you would an adwords campaign.

    This has the potential to boost adwords revenue for Google because as advertisers tweak their landing pages and increase conversion ratios, they're able to raise their max CPCs.

    Website Optimizer tool is best for Adwords advertiser as per my experience....its a new tool and provides good stats regarding your website ....

    Though new I think this tool would benefit a lot of adwords marketer to save up on their campaign and yet get better conversion.
