    Inbound links, average time spent on the site, number of sign ups in the newselletter, number of comments to the articles, pageviews... But pageviews aren't really that important

    Pageviews are important if the goal is exposure. But if you want to take it to the next level, what should the viewer do once they are on the page? And how will you guide/entice them there?
