    Hi Rand,

I'm not sure if I'm understanding you right. I didn't know that SEOR had this sort of reputation. I haven't seen an overwhelming amount of jerkiness here ... that's to say... not really any more than anywhere else ... and, this is my favorite seo forum site; but, I didn't know that SEOR had a reputation of being particularly advanced.

When I think of an advanced forum, I think of webmasterworld as more of the standard for that ..... I'm putting that out there to give some sort of context.

    thanks

Yeah, I've actually never seen any chatter about this either. Was it from anyone credible?

Some of the people that made those comments are members, some are lurkers so I'd rather not say.

That is sweet, but SERPS alone won't do.

I personally like the idea. I don't see as many newbies to SEO here and think it'd be great to have more. I do realize I'm not a pro, but still piping my two cents in.

It's no point in really asking me to be nice as I'm always nice anyway.

I'm always nice, never mean, never cruel, never jerky, always patient, always kind, always full of myself wonderful.

    Just kidding.

Seriously, I think the Newbie forum is a great idea!
God knows where you are, but Google may not. SEO is the key that unlocks search engine success (and a plugin isn't enough).
