I don't think anything will ever replace great content and it drawing natural links.
I got little sleep and haven't taken my meds yet so bare with me...
I took a look at my Hittail results this morning, I saw a few phrases people used which I ranked on page 3 and beyond for, -height weight chart- as an example and other terms I would never have thought of (I know that is one of the benefits of Hittail, identifying those terms to assist you in optimizing). I am not a programmer, barely a web site designer and hardly a good SEO/M but the results got me thinkin. Is it possible to create a RSS feed of only terms which are clicked from any result not on page one of the SERP? The feed could contain the search term as the anchor and a text snippet (predetermined or generated) of content - then add the feed to the numerous sites on the planet and beyond... This make sense? Where are my pills?
Yes, everything you need is in the referrer
Be careful of naughty people referrer spamming rude words into your system though
he he he
Hi NavyCS, Mike Levin here, the creator of HitTail. Our paid version of the product provides an RSS feed, and can be mashed-up with any application you write, or wish to use. See our recent blog entry about ghostwriting as an example.
We recommend against automated systems, as it's likely that you produce "patterns", and potentially low-quality sites from a user experience perspective. You can expect such sites to someday be penalized, even if it works well at first.
Instead, we highly recommend taking the keywords provided by HitTail as writing suggestions, and doing the writing on your own in already-optimized publishing software, such as Blogger, SquareSpace, TypePad or WordPress. If you don't have the time to do the writing, try out that ghost writing service.
Just my 2 cents.
Dependent upon the severity of such a penalty/ban once implemented by Google, you may think you are winning the battle... only to lose the war.

I personally have no intention to use the data as I proposed above, frankly wouldn't have a clue how to - heck, I am just getting a good understanding of html! One thing I am pretty good at is thinking up stupid stuff - kinda like my last blog entry "Hippocannabis Oath".
By the responses this type of automated link generation is possible, may be being used today. I have no idea what the value might add up to or if it would even help raise the amount of traffic - guess it depends on where the links are coming from... If there is value and is easily manipulated will there be a devaluing of RSS feeds coming in the future?
Mike, this was the first time that I ever heard about this ghost writing service. What exactly do you mean by that? Please enlighten this newbie...? Thanks in advance, Mike and could you also give me a lead on "Hittail" please on where best to read them.
