Smile Installing dofollow

How does it help your site if you have it as a dofollow one? Does it benefit you in anyway?

Dofollow is a way of saying that you trust the people, who you link to and who comment on your site (if that's where dofollow links appear).

It doesn't really benefit you, unless you and your commentators only link to authority topical website, which helps your site - a bit.

It more helps the people you link to and the commentators, who get dofollow links to their websites.

Also, there's a chance that your site will be used as a link building machine for people, who use link building services of those, who comment on old blog posts. That's at best, some just spam dofollow posts with random comments

...or -- if you don't want to use Firefox -- just check the source code of each blog you want to spam

Or do a Google link: check (yeah I know: "Ewwww!") on your competitors.

If you site do follow that's will attract people more to visit your site. Especially if others blogger/webmaster looking for back link number.

if you're looking to promote yourself via comments, here's a tool you may want to check.

at commentino, we have a "cloud" of human writers at one end and a fully automated campaign system on the other end.

commentino enables you to promote your brand/site/offerings in forums, comments, social networks, etc. - an alternative and addition to SEO.

Note: I'm Ori from commentino

I definitely agree with you since we know that dofollow links are much weighted than nofollow in terms of SERPs
