Why We Digg in social media site Articles is there any benefit to the digger or it only provides benefit to the Digg Article...

If it's your article the benefit of getting others to dig is en mass is that you will get on the first page of Digg and that can bring you a lot of traffic. Articles on the first page of Dig can get hundreds of thousands of clicks in a single day! I think that's pretty strong incentive.
