		<description>I wonder if it's more to do with getting a bunch of external links from people linking to your post, aggregating your RSS, etc. As those fresh links fall off the front page of other sites, your ranking goes back down.</description>

I did however get some time to rework my Irregular Content article. I think I focused it a bit more and (hopefully) made it an easier read.
