Andy, thanks for commenting. I noticed the Ezine connection after posting. I'd agree, they should focus on link building first and foremost. The success or failure of the site will hinge on whether or not they can get the site to rank well.

Personally, if I were going to launch a site like this I'd "hatch" it for a year before marketing it. I'd write my own tutorials, and build links like crazy. How To guides or Tutorials are great link bait and I wouldn't think it would be too difficult to promote some of them on social sites like reddit, digg, delicious, or even work.com.

But again, the credibility issue is a bit disturbing and needs to be addressed first and foremost.

One big problem with them is using Adsense.

Honestly, there is only one site I trusted to have permission to be sharing IDs with permission, and that was Digital Point.

Gaining permission to modify adsense code on the fly isn't straight forward, and the legitimate way is to use their API, which most plugins don't.

Even then, I would hate a clickfraud problem with my Adsense ID that happened on someone elses domain.

Did you notice that some of the articles posted were taken from Ezine Articles, and were posted in the name of people not the original author?

They might as well just connect the site to a feed coming from Article Marketer, do some creative SEO to make things at least partially unique content, and just work on link building.

Lol glad you liked it Steve. I believe they pay in advance but I don't really know. As I said, they are not allowed to dictate the tone or nature of the review so I fully expect to be paid. But it does bring up the questions that I pose in the latest post.
