1Hi there -Good ones! LOL
Just to add:
-You know you’re addicted when you feel so guilty for not visiting a forum where you have made good friendsthat it causes you to lose sleep.
-You say, “Oh I’ll eat later” because there’s always another post to read.
-You know that you are the one with the least education so you read more expert submits instead of your lessons.
-You pray for forgiveness because you know darn well you shouldn’t have just laughed at “that.”
-You ask your cat if you should comment on that post.

4I guess you are right. It should read “How to try to reduce an addiction”. It is indeed impossible to cure oneself from a favorite forum (or two). I should’ve known better ;)

6I’m no addict… I only click “New Posts” about 10 times in a row… only post and reply when I have nothing substantial to say, but want to say it anyway… and I know that I do own part of that forum, despite the lack of technical ownership (charter members ‘own’ by default, right?)… so, no, I’m not an addict… just a dedicated forummer (one who forums in an online forum). :D
Also, I make up words for forums (forummer, forumming, to forum)…
Just kidding!

10It is possible to recover from forum addiction. I think the best thing to do is to just quit cold turkey, it is hard the first few weeks but then you find out that you actually can do without participating. Time spent on forums are quite often very unproductive, and time could be better spent working on something or just handing out with friends at the local pub. Forum addiction can be cured. Do not stop trying. Resistance is not futile.
