While I do agree that spam was a problem for Wikipedia, I do NOT believe this is the answer. Similar to the NoFollow move pulled by SearchWarp a while back, this move is a slap in the face of the very webmasters who helped build Wikipedia into what it is today. And apparently, I’m not the only one who thinks so…

If you haven’t been hiding under a rock lately, you’ve probably heard that Wikipedia recently reinstated the NoFollow tags for all external links.
