State of the Refuge…

Wow… its been a busy week, both for the forums and myself. Personally, I resigned my job in preparation for my move to Tulsa. I am also preparing to be self employed in the SEO business which is a challenge all on its own. Its all exciting stuff but definitely will require a lot of work. We also had a busy week as a forum. We gained 13 new members this week and also saw a few more become active for the first time since signing up. Welcome to any and all of our new refugees! With such an influx of new members, I’d like to take this time to remind everyone to check out our Rules thread just to make sure we avoid any problems before they start. We want to keep this an forum focused on SEO while still having a good time. We are well on our way to achieving our 2006 goals.

As you probably saw, we kicked off our SEO Cartoon series. Pops did a great job on it and we hope to keep these coming at you at least fairly regularly. Yet another new development is our first ad on SEOrefugee.com. Of course its for our member only T-shirts and if you dont have yours yet, be sure to get your order in while they last.

What to watch for:
In other forum news, we are approaching our 1000th thread and 10,oooth post. We’ve got the SEOrefugee T-shirt photo contest coming up as well as another cartoon and hopefully some more interviews for the blog. You may also want to check out our Blogs, Tags, Rss, and Feeds section for some very interesting threads and tips on how to drive traffic to your site and after all, thats why we’re here. I’ll also try to have our first ever product review for you sometime in the coming weeks. Be sure to watch for it.

Well, I think thats all I have for you this week. I am sure that I have forgotten something but RMC, Toddieg, or Pops will certainly point it out to me.
